Deleting Backup Files

If you revert a migration and then decide to perform the migration again, you will need to delete the backup files that are automatically created when the migration is initially performed. If you do not want to re-migrate a site, it is not necessary to delete the backup files.

To delete backup files:

1.  Go to the Backup Files tab

2.  Use the Backup Files area to select the files you want to delete

3.  Click Delete. A confirmation message is displayed, asking “Are you sure you wish to delete these backup files?”

4.  Click Yes to proceed. The status of the deletion is displayed as shown below, in both the Status area and along the bottom bar of the application window.

5.  When the process is complete, a message states “The backup files have been successfully deleted.” Click OK to clear the message.
